Random Fact: I’m originally from Minnesota, but for the last seven years called Chicago my home. As of last September I am now an official Arizonan, and so far on my runs I have come face-to-face with javelinas, coyotes and rattlesnakes. It’s safe to say I’m no longer in the Midwest, but I’m loving every minute of it!

Why Ragnar?: I could say it’s to challenge myself in a new way, to make new friends, to have the chance to see more of my new home. But really it’s all about the slap bracelet. Just kidding. :)

Favorite Dessert: Though the photo suggests cupcakes, they are a close second to my real and much less culinary favorite: sour gummy worms.
