Spent half the week on vacation but it still turned out decent! I loved getting to do some new activities in some cooler weather.
September 24th – 30th
Monday: Run 8.04 miles/1:22/ 10:09 pace
Am run with Ari! We took it slow since she is recovering from being sick – overall a nice run!
Tuesday: Bike 15.71 miles/1h 07 min/ 14.2 mph
Finally…a slightly respectable speed on the bike ;) We pushed it a tiny bit more than our usual morning rides but still kept it nice and easy.
Friday: 2 hour Kayak tour
This was an awesome kayak tour! I’ll have more to share about it later this week, but that’s a picture of the river we were on – the picture doesn’t do it justice.
Saturday: Walk – around 4 miles
We spent the morning at the Brookgreen Gardens walking around the sculpture gardens, trails and zoo. Later after dinner Lance and I took a walk down the beach. I love taking walks on the beach at night, it’s definitely one of my favorite parts about vacationing at the beach.
Sunday: Run 2 miles/17:35 min/ 8:44 pace
I had planned to wake up early and run on the beach Saturday morning but accidentally set my alarm for 6 pm (oops!) so I knew I would regret it if I didn’t get in a run at the beach before we went home. I ended up running on the sand along the water and it was much harder than I thought it would be! My legs were really tired after only two miles, but it was so gorgeous!
