I’ve been in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina the last few days and since it’s (already) the end of September I thought I would share a fun new thing on the blog! I got this fun idea from Brittany!
Loving: Apple/pumpkin/Fall everything! The obsession has begun! I have yet to try a pumpkin beer for this year, but I can assure you, it won’t be long before I have one
Reading: I just finished reading Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn (SO good. Read it ASAP!!). Random side note about the book: The husband and wife have the same anniversary and my husband and I, but 1 year earlier and the main characters real name is Lance (same as my husband!) talk about weird/creepy!! I’ve also got Jenny Lawson’s book Let’s Pretend This Never Happened: (A Mostly True Memoir) on my nightstand and I read a chapter here and there – I think her blog is hilarious and the book is just as good!
Watching: I am loving that the Fall tv lineup is back, but oh-so thankful for my DVR! Glee, New Girl, The Big Bang Theory, Criminal Minds, Once Upon a Time + more.. and most of all Dexter starts on Sunday (This SUNDAY!!)
Anticipating: Halloween time! We’ve got our Halloween party, our annual Bat Cave/Bonfire outing & Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Hollywood! Plus pumpkin carving and baking lots of pumpkin goodies!! And the best part: getting to watch Hocus Pocus!
Listening to: Lately I’ve been all about Pandora – my two current favorite stations are the Wicked (Original Broadway Cast) Radio and Summer Hits of the 90′s Radio The Summer Hits of the 90’s
Planning: A really awesome 1920’s themed murder mystery Halloween party! I’ve been busy making invitations, assigning characters, making a menu, getting décor and props. SO excited!
Working on: Sewing a dress for the party mentioned above. Sequins & fringe are happening up in here for my flapper costume. Hopefully it fits when I’m done
Wishing: the temperatures would drop low enough for me to purchase and wear these boots (with skinny jeans and maybe a sweater!) . I’ve been pining over them so I think I should probably just buy them already..

I really need to sit down and get into Gone Girl. I downloaded it on my iPad a couple months ago and started reading up to where the wife disappears and then just stopped. I have a 5 hour flight coming up on Thursday so I might just have to read it then

Definitely bring it on your flight! I read almost the entire book on my flight last week. You are right where it starts to get good – and you’ll be glad you don’t have anything else to do but read cuz it’s a page turner
I have seen a lot of people say Gone Girl is good. It is going on my to read list.
